Cleaning Wood Floors

7/25/2010

We like to use plain vinegar or very dilute Murphy Oil Soap on Wood floors. If you have a favorite product, we'll use that too!

If you do use Murphy's on finished wood, laminate, no-wax or tile, use no more than 1/4 cup (Original Formula) per gallon of warm water. Clean with well wrung-out mop and mop up any excess water. No rinsing needed.

Do not use on unfinished wood. Flaking indicates the wood may need refinishing. If the finish appears worn or weak, test the surface first with plain water in a hidden area.
